Frequently Asked Questions.
Inspections are generally completed within 5-7 business days from the time the order is placed, depending on the weather, the sellers schedule, and inspector’s schedule. We do offer to expedite the service at an additional fee as this often requires us to pay providers more as they travel a longer distance or re-arrange their work schedules. This would guarantee the back within 3-4 business days. Reports are usually uploaded the following morning that the inspection is done. Inspections that are completed on Friday will have the report reviewed on Monday morning. We do our best to complete inspections by the next business day as long as the seller makes the unit available for review and the inspection is ordered early enough the day before. Occasionally, the seller’s schedule, the inspector’s schedule or the weather may cause a delay. Please note we cannot guarantee a date of an inspection due to factors outside our control. Customers are encouraged to plan accordingly and make arrangements to hold a vehicle if necessary. We have a better chance of getting the inspection done faster, the sooner you place your order. We do not schedule inspections on weekends but process all orders from the weekend on the first business day following the order. We do our very best to get them out as soon as possible.
We will send a copy of the report to the person ordering the report and any one else they request (an example of who else would need a copy would be a lender requesting the inspection)
If you change your mind before the inspector has been dispatched we will place a hold on the order. Should you have another unit in mind we will send the inspector their instead. If the inspector has already been dispatched and inspected the unit you will be charged for the services as they were performed.
We do our best to ensure you are getting a NAMS (National Association of Marine Surveyors), SAMS (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, or RVTI (RV Technical Institute) inspection. For collateral verification inspections the inspectors will follow a detailed checklist which will ensure the lender requirements are met.
